The Value of a Funeral

A funeral acknowledges that a life has been lived and allows mourners to remember and honor their loved ones in a special way.  It serves as a central gathering place for family and friends to give emotional and physical support to one another.  And it provides the first step in bringing closure for the bereaved.  It initiates the grieving process and confirms the reality and finality that the death of a loved one has occurred.  The funeral encourages mourners to face the pain of their loss and express their thoughts and feelings.  It helps those who survive a way to better way to cope with their grief, and enables them to move forward with their lives.

The Value of a Pre-arranged Funeral

Having served many area families, we realize how difficult it can be after the loss of a loved one. As part of our continuing commitment to excellence in service to the communities we serve, we are always looking for ways to reduce this emotional and sometimes financial burden that comes with the loss of a loved one.  We have found that Funeral Pre-arrangement meets this need. This thoughtful preparation offers expression of ones own personal wishes, gives peace of mind, and relieves the financial burden on family members. Pre-arrangement is also a practical gesture because it allows you to make unhurried, informed decisions that you and your family can share in planning together.

Why make pre-arrangements?

Pre-planning your funeral service can provide you and your family with peace of mind.  A carefully pre-arranged service can be very comforting to your family, as it spares them having to face decisions that can be both emotionally and financially difficult.  It will help to provide them with peace of mind in knowing that they have acted in accordance with your wishes.

What is involved in making pre-arrangements?

We provide you, at no cost, with information about our firm and all of your options so you can make an informed decision about what type of service you would like.  We also provide you with cost estimates and pre-funding options.

 What are pre-funding options?

Although not required, most people choose to set aside funds that will cover their pre-arranged funeral.  You have the option of locking in the price of your funeral at today’s cost, or you can simply set aside funds that will continue to grow and then be available when needed.  Some people prefer to set up information only, leaving financial matters to be addressed at a later time.  Whatever the case, once your pre-arrangements are made and on file, when the time of need arises, a call to our funeral home will enable us to proceed with what was planned.

For further information, or when you are ready to learn more about making pre-arrangements, a representative of our firm will meet with you in the comfort of your own home or at our office.  We will
provide you with all of your options, and detailed information about the various programs available, so
you can make an informed decision and chose which program or service best fits your needs.

Think carefully about what will be best for you and your family, and discuss why you want certain arrangements. By doing so now, you are assuring peace of mind for you and your family before the time of need.
